Sunday Mornings

Now that Addy is into somewhat of a regular napping routine, Sunday's have become much more enjoyable.  If I'm being completely honest, I would have to say that church was sooooo hard when she was little.  I knew I needed to be there, but I was normally out in the foyer bouncing her or trying to keep her quiet while sitting in the sanctuary.  When I was ready to put her in the nursery she still was taking a million small naps a day so she would either end up crying in the middle of service, or I'd still wind up with her in the foyer because she doesn't sleep super well in the nursery, and when the kids needs to sleep she NEEDS. TO. SLEEP.

She now has a nap at 9am and a nap at 1pm if all is right in the world.  Because of this new found freedom to plan events, errands, and showers at actual times I have been able to wake up, get ready, and take the kiddo to catch a "deal" if I would like.  Or we just lie around in our jammies taking it easy before the race to get ready for church.  Today we headed to Rite Aid at 8am to buy a few things.  Today was the first day Addy actually sat in the kid seat of the cart. Must mark that milestone on the calendar.

Here is was we nabbed up for $12.  The candy is to replace the candy we bought last week for the harvest party.  Yep.  It's all gone. Somehow I think these packages will probably not see the harvest party either.
